R / SPLIT PLOT IN RCBD Multi-location

Messagepar Toukabri Wael » 12 Fév 2018, 09:47

I have some question concerning the statistical analysis of the data I hope you can inform me
I have a designed experiment split plot in RCBD with the factor Tillage (T) as main plot and the factor nitrogen (N) as slit plot
this experiment was carried out in three different site ( S1 / S2 / S3)
so

When I analyze each site alone I have no problem
I use the following model with R

> M<-lmer(YIELD ~ N*T+(1|B/(T)),data=BARLEY_S1)
> anova(M)

But when i want to analyse the three sites together.
I do not know how to put the site factor (S)?
What is the appropriate statistical model used in this case?
I'm wondering if you could quickly advise on the best statistical analysis for my data.
If you have any thoughts on any of these points, I would be glad to hear them.

Best regard

Hi,

this is a forum for french speaking people...

You should check mixed models documentation, especially from nlme or lme4 packages to handle nested random effect terms within the formula.
